Hollywood actor Tobey Maguire, best known for playing Spider-Man in the blockbuster film franchise, has officiated the wedding of his ex-wife, Jennifer Meyer, to Nigerian music executive Geoff Ogunlesi, the son of billionaire investor Adebayo Ogunlesi.
The wedding took place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the luxurious Four Seasons Resort Lanai in Hawaii, United States, just weeks after Maguire and Meyer finalised their divorce.
Maguire’s unusual role in the ceremony has attracted attention, as the actor did not merely attend his former wife’s wedding but also presided over the proceedings as she exchanged vows with her new husband.
Meyer, 49, is a celebrity jewellery designer, while her husband, Geoff Ogunlesi, 34, is an entertainment executive who founded The Ogunlesi Group, a talent management company based in Los Angeles.
Geoff is the son of Nigerian-born billionaire lawyer and investment banker Adebayo Ogunlesi, whose business interests include global infrastructure investments.
His father founded Global Infrastructure Partners, an investment firm acquired by BlackRock in 2024 in a deal valued at approximately $12.5 billion.
Maguire, 51, and Meyer married in 2007 after meeting in 2003. They announced their separation in 2016, although their divorce was not finalised until September 2026.
The former couple share two children, Ruby, 19, and Otis, 17, both of whom attended their mother’s wedding.
Meyer and Ogunlesi, who began dating in 2023 and got engaged in 2024, also welcomed a baby girl together in 2026.
